Terms of Purchase

The following terms of purchase apply when shopping in the webshop:

Selecting a Product

The customer has the option to choose and order products from the store. By clicking on the selected product, the customer can view a detailed description of it. If the customer wishes to purchase the product, they can place it in a virtual shopping cart by clicking the "Add to Cart" button. By clicking the "View Cart" button, the customer can see the products placed in the cart during the purchase process, as well as the total amount of the invoice and the shipping cost. Here, the customer can verify the accuracy of their order, particularly the prices and quantities, which can be modified or corrected as needed. The cart automatically calculates the total amount of the order.

Submitting the Order

If the customer finds the quantity of products in the cart satisfactory, has verified the total amount, and decides to purchase them, they can simply click the "Proceed to Checkout" button. In our store, it is possible to shop without registration, so the customer can choose from three options:
  1. Log in as a previously registered customer,
  2. Register as a new customer, or
  3. Shop without registration.
If the customer has previously shopped in our store, they should provide the email address and password used during their previous registration. If the customer wishes to register as a new customer, they should provide the necessary information for the purchase, which the system will store, allowing them to log in for future purchases. For shopping without registration, the customer must provide their billing and shipping address.In the next step, the customer should select the preferred delivery method:
  • Home delivery (via GLS courier service),
  • Personal pickup (at our premises), or
  • GLS parcel point.
If the customer chooses the home delivery option, they must provide the address where they wish to receive the package.Personal pickup is available at our premises in Maglód (2234 Maglód, Rába u. 2) from Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.For GLS parcel points, the customer should select the most convenient parcel point.Next, the customer must choose a preferred payment method:
  • Bank transfer: (Upon placing the order, the customer will receive an email notification that the order is in "pending status." Once the transferred amount is credited to our bank account, the order will be activated, and the customer will receive all necessary further information via email.)
  • Credit card payment: (Online credit card payments are processed through the Barion system. Credit card details are not shared with the merchant. The service provider, Barion Payment Zrt., is an institution supervised by the Hungarian National Bank, license number: H-EN-I-1064/2013.)
  • Cash: (For personal pickup, the ordered products can be paid for in cash upon receipt.)
  • Cash on delivery: (The order amount must be paid to the GLS courier upon receipt of the package.)
If the customer agrees with the content of the order, they can submit the order by clicking the "Place Order" button.

Prices

Our prices are the list prices valid at the time of the order, which are displayed next to the products in the webshop. Prices are gross prices, including VAT, but do not include shipping costs. Shipping costs are displayed during the checkout process before finalizing the order and can also be found in the Terms of Purchase. If there is an error or omission in the webshop regarding the products or prices, we reserve the right to correct it. In such cases, the customer will be informed of the new details immediately after the error is identified and corrected. The customer can then confirm the order again or either party may withdraw from the contract.

Order Processing

Orders are processed within a maximum of two business days.

Correcting Input Errors

Input errors can be corrected before clicking the "Place Order" button.

Confirmation

We send email confirmations for all orders. This means that after placing the order, the customer will receive an automatic email confirming the receipt of the order and (later) another email with the expected delivery date. For phone inquiries, customers can contact customer service at +36 30 813 1491 or +36 29 328 289, or any of the phone numbers provided in the email.

Payment Terms

In our store, payment options include bank transfer, credit card payment, personal payment, and cash on delivery. For cash on delivery, the total purchase price, including shipping costs, must be paid in cash to the courier upon receipt of the package.

Shipping

Deliveries are handled by GLS courier service. The delivery time for the product is indicated during the checkout process and is also included in the confirmation email. Customers can arrange the delivery time by contacting the phone number provided in the confirmation email.

Shipping Fees

Our shipping fees are uniform across the country. Currently, we do not offer shipping outside Hungary.Shipping fees with GLS courier service:
  • For orders under 15,000 HUF: 2,000 HUF
  • For orders over 15,000 HUF: Free
Shipping fees to GLS parcel points:
  • For orders under 15,000 HUF: 890 HUF
  • For orders over 15,000 HUF: Free

Withdrawal from Shipping

If the webshop cannot fulfill its contractual obligation because the specified goods are not available or the ordered service cannot be provided, the customer must be informed.

Returning a Product

Products can only be returned in their original condition and packaging, with complete quantity and quality.

Right of Withdrawal / Return Guarantee

The customer may withdraw from the contract without justification within eight business days. The withdrawal period begins on the day the goods are received. The seller is obligated to refund the amount paid by the customer immediately, but no later than thirty days after the withdrawal.The customer bears the cost of returning the goods due to exercising the right of withdrawal. Products can be returned to the following address: 2234 Maglód, Wodiáner Telep, Rába utca 2.The seller may claim compensation for damages resulting from improper use of the goods. If the returned goods are not in impeccable, resalable condition, the customer is liable for damages caused by intentional or negligent actions.If the product is found to be damaged during unpacking in the presence of the delivery person (postal worker or courier), the product will be immediately accepted for return, and the sale will be canceled. Any damage or missing content must be documented in a report between the sender and receiver during delivery. We cannot accept responsibility for subsequent claims of missing content or damage.


Warranty and Guarantee

We provide the statutory warranty and guarantee for our products in case of defects. If we offer more favorable conditions than those stipulated by law for any product, either continuously or as part of a promotion, these conditions will always be included in the product's description.A product is considered defective if, at the time of delivery, it does not meet the quality requirements specified in the contract or by law. The seller is not liable for defects if the buyer was aware of the defect at the time of the contract or should have been aware of it.In contracts between the buyer and the seller, it is presumed, unless proven otherwise, that any defect recognized by the buyer within six months of delivery already existed at the time of delivery, unless this presumption is incompatible with the nature of the product or the defect. In contracts between a consumer and a business, a defect reported within two months of its discovery is considered to have been reported without delay.In the event of a defect in the product, the buyer may enforce claims for material or product warranty, or in certain cases, guarantee claims. The procedure is governed by the provisions of Decree 19/2014 (IV. 29.) of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM).

Order Modification and Cancellation

According to Act CVIII of 2001, upon placing an order, the webshop software immediately sends a notification to the buyer about the receipt of the order. This notification does not constitute a contract between the seller and the buyer! It merely informs the buyer that their order request has been registered in our system and forwarded to the appropriate staff of the seller.If the buyer does not receive this notification within 48 hours, their offer to purchase is no longer binding.The seller allows the buyer to cancel their order electronically until the order fulfillment process begins. Once the order fulfillment process starts, the buyer will be notified via email and/or phone about the expected duration of fulfillment and the fact that fulfillment has begun. After this point, the order can only be canceled in person or through the contact details provided under the "Customer Service" or "Contact Us" sections.Subsequent modifications to the order can only be made in writing via email at peterspaplan@peterspaplan.hu.
